Memorials

We remember the children who were taken far too soon by congenital athymia.

Their lives may have been brief, but their impact is lasting. They were loved deeply, fought bravely, and mattered more than words could ever hold. Behind every statistic is a child, a family, a story, and a future that should have had more time. We carry them with us in this work — in every effort to raise awareness, support families, advocate for earlier answers, and build a future where more children have the chance to grow, heal, and live.

She was only 18 months old, but her life carried a strength and beauty far beyond her years. Born with congenital athymia and later facing cancer, she endured more than any child ever should, yet she remained deeply loved by all who knew her, cherished, and surrounded by a community that will never forget her.

He was here for just over a year, but his life touched more hearts than time could ever measure. While waiting for his thymus, he was deeply loved, fiercely protected, and endlessly cherished by his mom. His journey left a lasting impact on the congenital athymia community, reminding us why awareness, support, and hope matter so deeply.

He was only 6 months old when congenital athymia took him unexpectedly, leaving behind heartbreak that no family should ever have to carry. Though his time here was brief, it was full of love and  his impact remains — a reminder of how fragile, precious, and meaningful every life is.
